Mobile Pie Center This mobile cabinet was custom made to be used to make a lot of pies by its new owner. The base structure is made solid yellow birch heartwood with birch veneer panels. The heartwood birch has a beautiful red tone that contrasts the lighter tone of the veneer panels. The butcher block top is made from maple and shows an interesting variety of colors and grain character. The top will take a lot of abuse and is seasoned with mineral oil and beeswax to repel moisture while making it food safe. Its ready to go mobile on a set of locking casters and can be moved wherever it’s needed in the kitchen and immobilized for working on, then easily parked out of the way when not in use. The shelf is adjustable and can be positioned as desired to accommodate whatever needs to be stored underneath.

Bathroom Cabinet

Bathroom Cabinet
Bathroom Cabinet This cabinet provided some much needed storage in this bathroom for towels and such, but it can obviously be used to store anything in any room. The top and bottom are modular and can be broken down for transport if needed. It is made from butternut which has a beautifully natural warm color tone. Each door was adorned with a hand carved abstract compound leaf painted black to add a subtle touch of style. But…always store the spare TP on the bottom shelf.

Washboard Wall Cabinet This vintage washboard has been repurposed and now serves as a decorative door to a wall cabinet. The cabinet has two internal shelves (but easily customized for more); and the external bottom shelf matches up with the washboard legs, which happens to be the perfect size for holding a standard box of facial tissues. Can't you just picture this on the wall of your bathroom, kitchen, or any place else you'd like to store some small items?

Key Rack & Flashlight Shelf The situation: an over abundance of keys mixed up in a bowl by the door. Flashlights cluttered on a shelf, and never knowing if you’ll grab one that actually works. The solution: this nice wall unit with enough hooks to keep your keys organized and shelf to store your flashlights or anything else you want. This one is made with black walnut with a bead board style back made from butternut. Their natural colors compliment each other nicely. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do to guarantee that the flashlights will work or not, but they are handy.

Shoe Shelf

Shoe Shelf
Shoe Shelf Need a place to store all those shoes, hats, and gloves by the door? The pile o’ shoes method not cutting it anymore? This seemed to do the job nicely. This project prioritized function over style. This cubby organizer is made of sturdy oak. The top units were built to accommodate baskets for hat and glove storage. The bottom of each shelf is lined with a thin sheet of indoor/outdoor carpet to protect against wet shoes. It is finished with a deep black stain for a more contemporary industrial look but allows the grain to just peak through assuring you that it is made of quality hardwood.
